There are so many wonderful attractions in Vancouver and all over British Columbia. We have organized

them in terms of  their distance from Limosa House. These a several of the main options but, depending
on your specific interests, we will be happy to provide you with additional information when you arrive.

In addition, because the main highway through Canada is only 10 minutes from Limosa House there is great driving access to all other parts of BC – you may want to consider adding another destination while you are in British Columbia.

The cruise ship terminal for the Alaska Cruise is minutes from Limosa House. Cruises normally run from May to September and are reputed to be spectacular.

Another option for seeing more of British Columbia and Alberta is a train trip. There area number of scheduled routes all of which offer a relaxing way to see the scenery.

A 'must see' if you have time is Tofino, on Vancouver Island. This is a truly magical spot and offers a wide range of accomodation from camping to luxury.

Because of its amazing setting, you are surrounded by nature at Limosa House and there are so many activities on the doorstep it is hard to know where to start. Fishing Fishing in BC can range from dangling a line in the water off the pier to visiting a remote lodge for fly fishing  to ocean fishing – whatever your preference, its available. The following sights will give you a good overview.

Golf There are numerous golf courses in the Vnacouver area, the closest to Limosa House  are Northlands Golf Course  and Seymour Golf And Country Club
Whistler also offers several very popular golf courses and we also have accommodation available at Whistler, let us know when you book if you are also looking to visit there as well.
Hiking There is plenty of fabulous hiking near Limosa House -some of which can be accessed by walking out the back door, some are a 10 minute drive and even more are within an hour’s drive. Mountain Biking

North Vancouver is a world renowned mountain biking location, Limosa House is right next to some of  these trails, you can walk out the front door and start riding!!

Rock climbing 45 minutes from Limosa House, along a stunning drive, is the Stawamus Chief that offers a great rock climbing experience ( for the less hardy you can hike up it – see above).

Skiing North Vancouver has 3 ski resorts, all just minutes from Limosa House, offering downhill, cross country, snow shoeing and tubing. Many of the Olympic events in 2010 will be hosted at these locations as well as at Whistler resort.
